Nothing Says Lovin' Like Something From the Oven

Hurrah! Am making a start of this year's 'crops'. Planted seeds which are tucked away in the oven (off) where the temperature is warmer than my 45 degree home.

Oven Ready seed

I made a little chart of the seed I'm hoping will thrive in this year's summer Gulag Garden, among which are: Moon & Star watermelon, Lemon Cucumber, Sugar pumpkin, Sunberry & Black from Tula Tomato; all from the Heritage Seed Exchange. I potted up ten Silverbeet Swiss chard because they come in a variety of colors and I want at least one of each - I can share duplicates. For my herb garden there is cilantro, chives, Purple Ruffle Basil. On the cutting flower side I potted up Cutting Gold & Citrus Sunflowers, Snapdragons and Coreopsis - I still have one Coreopsis from 2 years ago surviving in one of my planter boxes.

Now, if I could just figure out where the $#%@ I put all the wildflower seed I collected last spring, I could be a happy camper.
